I am happy to share that we are making 7 August 2015 a public holiday, and we will have an extended ‪#‎SG50‬ Jubilee Weekend this year, from 7 August until 10 August. This means more time for Singaporeans to come together as one big Singapore family and commemorate our Jubilee.
During this Jubilee Weekend, Singaporeans can look forward to special programmes islandwide to celebrate our family, our friends and our home. We also have special concessions at public attractions and facilities. Please see the pictures or www.singapore50.sg to learn more.
I sincerely hope that we will all have a meaningful and inspiring Jubilee Weekend and SG50. Let’s spend this special time together with our family and friends, to reflect on our journey, thank the pioneers who brought us here, celebrate all that we love and cherish about Singapore, and commit ourselves to building a brighter and better home. That would really be the spirit of marking our Jubilee as one people and one nation.

Mrs Ismail who is in-charge of Environment Education would like to appeal to PSG parents' support on the following: This year the school will be embarking on re-using or recycling used glass bottles - wine ketchup, drinks, essence of chicken bottles etc and containers or jars to be used as decorative items. This is a student initiated project. Please help us in our effort towards waste minimisation either by donating the glass bottles and/or containers. We will get a vendor to help us with the terrarium making which will be placed in each class. Parents could either bring the bottles/containers on 28 Feb Lo Hei (Sec 1 esp) or drop them off at the boxes outside the school General office. Thank you very much. Looking forward to the support in this project.
