AMKSS Secondary 1 Orientation Campfire 2016 The sun set over the premise of AMKSS while the spirit of excitement and expectation rose among the secondary one students on 14 January. The orientation campfire was about to begin. Slowly and in cluster, the parents of the secondary one students strolled into the school as invited guests and was greeted by the enthusiastic parents of the Parents Support Group (PSG) selling drinks and light sticks. This is just one of the many projects that the PSG organize to raise funds for the school. That evening, the new parents were invited to witness their children enjoying the campfire as well as getting to know one another. At 7.30pm sharp, Mr Tom Chan, our principal, gave an introductory speech to the students and parents. Shortly after, he declared the start of the campfire by lighting the fire.
